The festive season arrives in Ash

The Festive season arrives in Ash today with the Ash Fantasia event, come rain or shine, the Christmas Fantasia will not be cancelled this year. Preparations started this week with the arrival of the Christmas tree and Christmas lampost motifs in the Village. The Ash Centre hall & carpark will be full of Craft Stalls, Games, and tables for charitable causes, which is always a fun day out for all the family. the Ash Centre event opens at 12pm and closes at 4pm. This year there will also be outside stalls and some fairground rides for the children. The Rotary Christmas Float will also be collecting money and playing Christmas classics for all. Ash Wharf will also be closed between 4pm and 6pm.

The weather is predicted to be cold so wrap up warm!

Ash Christmas Tree

The Christmas tree has historically been donated by the Surrey County Councillor for Ash, using their Member’s Allocation. Cllr Carla Morson has continued in this tradition to ensure the festive season starts in style. The Christmas Lights are sponsored by Kia Dover Garage and powered thanks to Bridges Estate Agent.

Christmas card design competition
