A family in Ash has been left with nothing following a serious house fire on the evening of 6 May 2026.
The incident, which has been shared widely on local social media groups, has resulted in the complete loss of the family home and all belongings inside.
At the time of the fire, the family were not at the property and returned to find the damage was total. According to information shared by those close to the situation, nothing inside the home could be recovered.
The household includes two adults, three children, including a one year old, and two dogs, all of whom have now been left without possessions following the incident.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a tumble dryer.

In response, local resident Daniel Munns, has set up a GoFundMe page, with the family’s knowledge, to help them begin to rebuild their lives.
