Ash Fantasia 2021

Each year Ash celebrates the start of the Christmas Season by holding a Christmas Market at the Ash Centre (Ash Fantasia 2021). This year it will be held on Saturday 27th of November, and there will be both inside and outside stalls including some small fairground rides in the Ash Centre car park. At 4:15 the Ash Vale Ensemble band will play Christmas carol music in front of the Christmas Tree in the village centre. Residents are invited to join in by singing along to the Christmas carols. The event culminates with the arrival of Santa who will be turning on the Christmas Tree Lights.

“This event is often very well attended and I am very pleased to be helping to organise this year’s event after 2020. If you have never visited the market at the Ash Centre, please give it a try this year as there are many good causes to support with some great items for sale. Also thank you to Bridges who provide the power for the Christmas Tree!”

Ash Centre Market

The Ash Centre market is open from 12:00pm until 4pm and includes a mixture of both charity and local craft stalls. Entry to the Christmas market is free.

Christmas Carols & Lights

At 4:15pm the Ash Vale Ensemble will play Christmas Carol Music. Carol sheets will be handed out by marshalls after the closure of Ash Wharf. Father Christmas will then arrive to turn on the Christmas Lights.

Road Closures

Wharf road will be closed on Saturday the 27th November between 4pm and 6pm to allow residents to enter the road safely to watch the Christmas tree switch-on event.
