Joint utility works: Road closures for White Lane

Road closures for White Lane

Planned works for White Lane:

Surrey County Council (SCC) Highways has issued an advanced notice of road closures for White Lane, Ash. This will be from Monday 2 August for approximately 2 weeks. As a result, the Stagecoach 520 service will be on diversion, and will not serve any stops on White Lane. Due to the diversion taken by this service, the nearest alternative stops are located on Poyle Road and Grange Road. The works are required for joint utility works to a new development.

There will be a signed diversion in place during their works.

Information to residents and Businesses

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. SCC will make sure you can get to and from your house or business when it is safe to do so. Please first talk to a member of staff on site if you need help, as they can solve most issues.

The closure of White Lane is not as shown on the plan. It is actually closed from Ash Green Lane E/W to Ash Green Station
