Rotary Christmas charity float
Christmas would just not be the same without the appearance of the Rotary Christmas charity float, collecting money for good causes in our local area. The Rotary club and associated Volunteers are very pleased to be able to get back onto the pavements to raise money for charity. Please support the Rotary Club in collecting money on Monday 13 & Tuesday 14 December. Subject to the weather and as time permits the routes will begin at 6:15 PM and will finish at 8:30 PM. A map of the planned routes is provided below.
Collections during the pandemic
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, charitable collections continued during 2020. Last year the float remained static at locations throughout the village. Ash Residents continued to show their support generosity by donating over £340
Where and when the float can be seen in Ash
The planned routes will start at 6:15 PM and will stop at 8:30 PM. The advertised routes are subject to weather and time constraints.
Monday 13 December Route
Monday’s route will start at 6.15 pm on Grange Farm Rd and finish in Longfield.
Tuesday 14 December Route
Tuesday’s route will start at 6.15 pm in Oaklea visit all roads of the Vale Road finishing in Firacre Rd.
