If you do not want to compost your garden waste or transport it to the local Community Recycling Centre (rubbish tip) you can sign up for Guildford Borough Councils’ garden waste collection scheme. This is a kerbside collection of garden waste which costs £48 per bin for 2023/24.

By signing up for the service as a new subscriber, the resident will receive a 240-litre brown bin which is collected fortnightly (excluding the two weeks over the Christmas period).

Hi David, as a resident in Ash, I did receive an email notification Guildford Brough Council inviting me to renew my Garden Waste. I recommend contacting GBC to confirm what details they have on file and watch your SPAM email folder. The link above is still correct to subscribe & renew.
