Ash Parish Council (APC) maintains Ash Cemetery, and has now made improvements to the grounds. As well as general maintenance such as grass cutting, APC is also responsible for the pathways between the graves. The cost of this upkeep is met by APC via internment fees. The Cemetery is visited regularly by many residents and due to this, the need to install new footpaths was raised at the Full Council Meeting on Monday 8th February 2023. The Council agreed to install a new path along the parameter way across open grass following the expansion of the plots. The Council also agree to replace part of the existing paths that had deteriorated. The work has now been completed at the cemetery located behind the Ash Museum, which is adjacent to St Peters Church & Ash Grange Nursery & Primary School.
