St Peter’s Ash SPONSORED TOILET TREK!
St Peter’s church in Ash has organised a novel way to raise the funds for a new Toilet. The project aims to install this within the room at the base of the church tower. The toilet will provide much-needed facilities for all those who visit the church, in particular people with disabilities and parents with young children and those attending baptisms, weddings and funerals. The Church also plans to install a small kitchenette area as part of further works, which will enable them to hold more social and community events and share the wonderful building of St. Peter’s church.
How to take part
If you would like to help by taking part in the sponsored walk, there are two walking routes.
- Guildford Cathedral to St Pet’s Ash (Circa 7 miles)
- Circular route starting and ending at St Peter’s Ash (Circa 2 miles)
If you are not a walker then the church is also looking for helpers as there are a number of roles for drivers, marshals, first aid, refreshments & registration.
