Ash United Football Club

Article by Paul Burch, Ash United FC

On behalf of Ash United FC, I would like to thank everyone for purchasing face masks from Pat Scott and her fantastic team of workers, namely Len, John and the two people who actually make them Jen and Bill. It’s been an amazing response and all of us cannot believe how many have been made and sold. They are carrying on and even making children’s sizes now.

Part of the money raised will be spent inside the club, especially on the main function hall etc, which needed a much welcomed refurb. We will be announcing some exciting new things that the local community can join, that will be taking part in the hall very soon. Zumba and Yoga to name a couple, but hopefully these will be added too as well.

The senior football teams and U18 teams within the club and because of your generosity, will all be wearing club tracksuits this season, something we have never really been able to afford before. As a massive thank you to the local community, who have made this happen, we will be wearing a special logo on our tracksuits for the next two seasons, as a small appreciation to every one. We will announce other things going on shortly, so please keep an eye out for further posts.
Once again a massive thank you to the local community from your local community football club
