On their social media site, the Ash Green Residents Association said:

URGENT: WE NEED YOUR HELP TO PROTECT ASH GREEN!

AGRA has successfully defended Ash Manor from five previous attempts by developers, including two appeals and a successful Judicial Review. But now a Developer is trying to build close to this historic site.
Ash Manor is a Grade II* listed building dating back to the 12th century, once owned by Kings and Queens. Only 6% of assets in England are this highly protected! It’s surrounded by a complex of other Grade II listed buildings, all at risk.
DEADLINE TO OBJECT: 25TH SEPTEMBER!
Please send your objections to PlanningEnquiries@guildford.gov.uk.
In the email, reference application 24/P/01158, and state your full name, address, and postcode.
List your concerns in your own words, but here are some key reasons to object:
Heritage: Protecting the historical integrity of Ash Manor
Ecology: Preserving the natural surroundings
Drainage: Potential impact on local drainage
Lack of Infrastructure: Insufficient transport, healthcare, and school places
Landscape: The development is inconsistent with the surroundings
Design: The proposed houses don’t fit with the local character
Let’s come together to stop this development and protect Ash Green! Every objection counts!
