Surrey County Council (SCC) has Proposed new traffic Calming Measures in Manor Road. Residents are now invited to review the plans and take part in a consultation before a final decision is reached. All public comments must be received by Friday 9th February 2024. SCC has advised that these traffic calming measures are intended to increase safety by reducing vehicle speeds on Manor Road. The proposals are for 6 new “flat-topped road tables” which in principle will be similar to the raised road table outside the co-op on Wharf Road.
Ash Parish News has created the above overview map based on the Plan provided within the Manor Road, Ash- Traffic Calming Proposals. The locations within the design are marked A-F in pink showing the proposed location of the traffic calming measures. Residents can also see these plans at the Ash Library, Ash Street, Ash, Surrey GU12 6LF, during normal opening hours.
