Shawfield Road Closure: Bridge Height Sign Works, 18-20 February 2026

Surrey County Council (SCC) has announced a planned road closure on  Shawfield Road for essential works at the railway bridge. The closure is required for the replacement of bridge height signs and is scheduled to take place between 18 February and 20 February 2026.

A diversion route will direct traffic via the A323 (Ash Street) and the B3411 (Ash Hill Road). These works are not connected with the recently postponed SGN gas works.
