Ash Parish Council (APC) is seeking community feedback to shape the next stage of its Neighbourhood Plan. From March 31st to April 13th 2025, residents can review the latest proposals, covering development, housing, green spaces, and infrastructure, and share their views via an online survey.
Drop-in sessions will be held on April 7th at the Ash Centre, where residents can discuss the plan with councillors, including committee chair Cllr Michael Moriarty. The Council encourages participation to help shape the future of Ash, Ash Vale, and Ash Green. You can also participate using the “Online Resident Engagement” More details and the presentation are available at www.ashpcsurrey.gov.uk/anp.
APC announced on the 31st March 2025 in a public statement printed below.
Ash residents’ engagement sought for next stage of Neighbourhood Plan development
The next informal engagement stage of the Ash Neighbourhood Plan starts today, March 31st! Running until the April 13th, we’re seeking feedback on what has been currently developed for the Neighbourhood Plan that covers the Parish.
This is the next stage of engagement for the Neighbourhood Plan after the early engagement stage in October, from which we received numerous responses that have helped guide our progress and development. Our strategies have now been laid out in a presentation for you all to review.
We need to know your thoughts on our current direction, including:
- Development and place strategies for Ash, Ash Vale and Ash Green
- Importance and locality of Retail and Employment locations in the Parish
- Brownfield and rebuild Development policies
- Housing Mix, Type and Tenure
- Existing and Proposed Community Facilities and Assets
- Green and Blue Infrastructure and Local Green Spaces
- Active Travel
Please see the presentation available on our website www.ashpcsurrey.gov.uk/anp, then Complete the Plan and Code Survey.
You can also join us for drop-in sessions on Monday, April 7th, between 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at the Ash Centre. Hosted by the Chair of the Neighbourhood Plan committee, Cllr Michael Moriarty with other councillors, residents will be invited to discuss the current progress of the plan and ask any questions.
Ash Neighbourhood Plan: Public Drop-in Sessions | Ash Parish Council
Attending any of the drop-in sessions is a great way to find out more about the plan, our intentions and offering any thoughts or considerations for what goes next – even potentially joining one of the task groups researching and collecting evidence to develop the plan.
We will continue to work in collaboration with the community and key stakeholders during the process as we develop the plan.
