An Emergency Gas Repair is currently taking place on Shawfield Road, resulting in the closure of Shawfield Road between Star Lane and Longacre. Works are expected to last until 18th March 2025, but may finish sooner. A Diversion route takes traffic through Longacre and Longfield Road. The closure will be in operation 24/7.

Stagecoach are terrible and still do not mention any disruption to the number 3 bus. I’d just like to be kept in the loop for when the road is back in use so I know when I can use the bus stop on Shawfield road again and not miss the bus because it goes up one road over another. Where would be the best place to get these updates please?
