Emergency Utility gas works are expected until 22 November 2023:
SGN (Scotia Gas Networks) is conducting Emergency utility works and has deployed multi-way-control traffic lights on Vale R oad (B3441). This is situated near St Mary’s Church between Penrose Gardens and Wood Street junctions. Road users are advised to expect delays whilst the repair is completed, the lights are in operation 24/7. SGN as advertised the works will be in place until the 22nd of November but may be extended.

SGN (Scotia Gas Networks) look after the gas network in the south of England and across Scotland. If you have a safety concern about their equipment e.g. barriers, signs or cones, please call SGN on 0800 912 1700.
