A3 & M25 junction 10/Wisley interchange improvements

Wisley interchange improvements

Works by National Highways have begun to install temporary narrow lanes and a reduced speed limit on the A3 and M25 as it passes through the M25 junction 10.  This is to ensure some lanes can remain open whilst work proceeds. As a result road users are to expect delays until the end of January 2023.

Additionally, National Highways has announced that there are to be planned closures as follows:

National Highways announce Overnight A3 closures from Monday 9 January 2023

A3 Northbound

The A3 will be closed northbound between the B2215 and A245 Painshill with no northbound entry to the A3 from Ockham, Wisley Lane or M25 junctions between

  • 10.30 pm and 5.30 am on Monday 9, Tuesday 10, Wednesday 11, Thursday 12, Monday 16, Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 January
  • 11.00 pm and 6.00 am on Friday 13 January

A3 Southbound

The A3 will then be closed southbound between the A244 Esher Common and A247 Burntcommon with no southbound entry to the A3 from Esher Common, Painshill, M25 or Old Lane junctions between

  • 11.00 pm and 6.00 am on Friday 20, Saturday 21 and Friday 27 January
  • 10.30 pm and 5.30 am on Monday 23, Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 January

We’ll also need to close some lanes on the M25 underneath the junction at the same time as these closures, so please take extra care if you’re travelling on the motorway.

From late January into February, we’ll also be closing the exit and entry slips at junction 10 at different times and dates. We’ll share details about these closures nearer the time.

Diversion Route

Diversions will be in place for drivers wishing to change between the A3 and M25 at junction 10. Please find the Diversion Route Map and the latest information here: www.nationalhighways.co.uk/m25j10.
