Utility works: White Lane Closure

White Lane Closure

Planned works for White Lane:

Surrey County Council (SCC) Highways has issued an advanced notice of the road closure of White Lane, Ash. This will be from Friday 4 November until 12 November 2022. Residents have reported signage stating that the closure will come into effect from 7th November. A diversion route will be in place throughout the closure. The works have been requested by Energetics Electictics, which installs multi-utility connections to residential and commercial developments.

There will be a signed diversion in place during the work.

Information to residents and Businesses

Warning signs will be displayed, and the closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. The staff on site will ensure you can get to and from your house or business when it is safe. Please first talk to a member of staff on-site if you need help, as they can solve most issues.

If you use the bus, check with your bus operator to find out if there are any alterations to the service during these roadworks. Stage Coach offers a journey planner on their website to see how it impacts you, see https://www.stagecoachbus.com/plan-a-journey.
