Residents asked to support appeal for additional pharmacy

support additional pharmacy

Via social media, Mr Ali Mustafa Kermali is asking residents to support his appeal to open an additional pharmacy in Ash. Mr Kermali reports that his initial application was rejected by NHS England and is appealing this decision.

This initial refusal has come as a surprise to residents who have been struggling to collect their prescriptions from the local pharmacy. These issues have recently been escalated by Ash Parish Council (APC), which has challenged Lloyds pharmacy in an effort to address residents’ concerns.

If the appeal succeeds, Mr Kermali aims to open a new independent pharmacy between Ash Station and Pinewood stores, and reports that this would stay open on a Saturday for 4 hours and on a Sunday for 4 hours.

How to support the appeal for an additional pharmacy

In his social media post, Mr Kermali said:
“To support my appeal, I am seeking the views of the local population on their current experience of pharmaceutical services offered in the area. I would be grateful if you would respond to the survey below, which should take no more than two minutes of your time. Please also forward to family members and friends if this is an issue that affects them. Our aim is to gather as much information as possible and present it to the appeal body.

If you would like to send more detailed information or comments than the form permits, please do not hesitate to contact me via allykermali@gmail.com
Thank you in advance.”
