Lead Councillor for Environment, Cllr James Steel, said:

“It’s fantastic that the paddling pool returns for the warmer, summer months. It is a popular, free activity for families in Guildford.

“Thank you for your patience while we installed a new fibreglass surface in the paddling pool. This surface will help the filters work efficiently and save water and the amount of chemicals used.

“The new surface features multicoloured aquatic creatures and the water jets, but will feel firmer than the previous surface. It is still important to take care to avoid slipping in this exciting environment.”
