SSC road repair rescheduled: Lysons Avenue

Lysons Avenue Level Crossing

Planned Works:

Surrey County Council (SCC) Highways were due to be closing the parts of Lysons Avenue near the level crossing on Friday 21 May 2021 for 1 day. This was to carry out carriageway resurfacing, however, it is now been delayed due to adverse weather.

Residents are asked to please park somewhere else nearby, otherwise, your vehicle may be towed away to a nearby road.

Information to residents and Businesses

Advanced warning signs will be displayed for the Lysons Avenue closure, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. SCC will make sure you can get to and from your house or business when it is safe to do. Please first talk to a member of staff on-site if you need help as they can solve most issues.
