Ash Parish Council were delighted to announce that is has now opened a new public toilet at Ash Cemetery. The project was approved as a result of requests from residents and the Members and Trustees Ash & District Museum Society, who operate Ash Museum which is situated in the Ash Cemetery Chapel. The new toilet is open daily from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and is located opposite the Chapel at the main entrance of the cemetery. It is an all gender facility and is fully Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant.
This new facility will bring a number of benefits. It will enable residents to extend the time they spend with their dearly departed loved ones. It will also mean (subject to Covid 19 restrictions) the Ash & District Museum Society can extend their opening hours and welcome more visitors, including parties of local school children.
