Ash Parish Council (APC) has announced that is commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE day by hosting a lunch at the Ash Centre. This event takes place on VE day, Thursday 8th May 2025, 12 pm and 2 pm. The event is open to all residents and free to attend.
As well as light refreshments, sandwiches and cake, the council will display the Peace Day Poppy wall as well as artefacts from the Ash Museum.
The council has asked that those interested in attending, to register in order to help plan catering. Booking may be done using the online form, or by contacting the Ash Parish Council Office Reception (01252 328287 | office@ashpcsurrey.gov.uk).
