Ash Celebrates the Coronation of King Charles III

Coronation of King Charles

In preparation for the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, Ash Parish Council (APC) has begun to decorate the village. In addition to decorations on street posts throughout the village, a flag has been raised outside the Ash Centre and bunting now surrounds the Ash Recreation ground.

Coronation Concert

Whilst many residents are holding their own events this weekend, APC is hosting a free Brass Band concert in June to celebrate the coronation. The concert, held at the Ash Center, starts at 4 pm on Saturday 24th June 2023. As the centre’s capacity is limited, all guests are now invited to book their free tickets to confirm entry.  There will also be a bar serving refreshments, with all profits being donated to charity.

In a similar format to the famous “Last Night of the Proms”, the Friary Brass Band will delight the audience with well-known classics, full of “Pomp and Circumstance”. Whilst entry is free, due to the limit on hall capacity, and to guarantee entry please register for your free ticket here.
