SGN (Scotia Gas Networks) has been granted permission to carry out essential gas utility works in Ash. These works will require temporary road closures on Shawfield Road and nearby areas.
Shawfield Road Works
The works will take place at two locations along Shawfield Road:
- Between Ashdene Crescent and Culverlands Crescent
- Between Alexandra Road and Underwood Avenue
These works are scheduled to take place between 27 April and 8 May 2026, during which time sections of the road will be closed.
Information to Residents and Businesses
Access for residents, businesses, emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. On-site staff will be available to ensure you can safely access your home or business when required.
