Mind Matters: Fathers wellbeing Course

Minds Matters Surrey NHS is hosting an online Fathers Wellbeing Course on Tuesday 16th April 4 pm – 5.30 pm. This is part of a range of courses it offers to Mothers, Fathers, families and Individuals to help tackle stress, anxiety, anger, grief, loss, wellbeing & low self-esteem. Mind Matters is a free NHS service and part of the national IAPT / NHS Talking Therapies programme. Fathers Wellbeing Course:

The format aims to:

  • provide fathers with an opportunity to share common issues and experiences in a supportive atmosphere
  • help to challenge some unhelpful expectations of fatherhood in a non-judgmental and supportive environment
  • help to identify certain behaviours, thinking patterns and situations that may be contributing to your low mood or anxiety
  • give you the chance to learn skills to change them and help develop self-compassion.

Who is Mind Matters Surrey?

Mind Matters Surrey is an NHS talking therapies service provided by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Talking therapies services are also known as Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services.
