Ash Parish News wish to express our warmest wishes to His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen Consort as they celebrate their Coronation. His Majesty’s Coronation takes place at Westminster Abbey, in London today, Saturday, May 6, 2023. For nearly a thousand years, Coronations have been held at the historic Westminster Abbey, and the Order of Service draws on this long tradition. It is reported to be centred around the liturgical theme of “Called to Serve” and The King’s solemn vow and commitment to serve God, and the people of the nations and the realms.
