In preparation for HM King Charles III Coronation, access roads within the neighbouring town of Aldershot will be closed. These include Prince’s Avenue, Queen’s Avenue and Redvers Buller Road. The Road closures will take place between 28th April and 5th May 2023.

NOTIFICATION OF ROAD CLOSURES
The Coronation of HM King Charles III will occur on Sat 6 May 23 and will be one of the largest State Ceremonial events in living memory. The Armed Forces are at the centre of the Coronation’s delivery and will be expected to deliver to the very highest standard. The standards will be achieved through training, including within the designated Aldershot Coronation Training Area.
To that end there will be a requirement for road closures on Prince’s Avenue, Queen’s Avenue and Redvers Buller Road, on the following days and times. Please note this is up to date as of 26th April:
28 Apr 23 0900-1200 29 Apr 23 0900 -1200 and 1300-1500
01 May 1000-1200 and 1300-1500 02 May 23 1000-1200
04 May 23 0900-1200 and 1300-1500 05 May 23 0900-1200
