Road works: A323 Guildford & Foreman Road

Road Works

Planned works for A323 Guildford & Foreman Road:

Surrey County Council has issued a notice of road works on the A323 Guildford Road as well as Foremans Road. Works in this area will be conducted from Monday 25th April until Friday 6th May between 9:30 and 3:30 pm daily. This is to undertake “Trial Pit” investigations to locate underground utilities in the area surrounding the Ash Station level crossing. This is part of the Ash Road Bridge scheme. As a result of lane closures, Temporary 2-way traffic lights will be placed on Foreman Road as well as stop/go boards, which will be manually operated on Guildford Road near the Ash station.

Information to residents and Businesses

Access to Guildford Road & Foremans Road for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained, although you may be required to park elsewhere. The contractors will make sure you can get to and from your house or business when it is safe to do so. Please first talk to a member of staff on-site if you need help, as they can solve most issues. The noise levels generated by these works in the highlighted areas are expected to be low to medium.
