In the run up to Christmas the Guildford Beat (Surrey Police) are asking residents to register their bikes via Bike Register or Immobilise. When a bike is recovered, a registered bike will be returned to its rightful owner however all to often the bike is not registered. Registering your bike also helps the police catch more criminals as it is more easy to prove if a registered bike have been stolen.
